Miyuki Maruyama / Pianist
born in Toyama/Japan
1993- studied with Prof. Alexander Jenner at the University of Music in Vienna
2000 graduated from the University of Music in Vienna (Universitaet fuer Musik und
darstellende Kunst in Wien) with master’s degree
She had many concerts in Europe and Japan while she was in University
and worked and studied as repetitor at the conductor’s class, and served as the official
accompanist of international music competitions
2002- returned to Japan and then started giving many recitals and piano concertos with Toyama city philmarmony orchestra
she continues giving concerts at schools and starts her performances with a short presentation about the music
2009 released the first album
(Mozart/Beethoven/Schubert piano sonatas)
2010 released the second album
(Chopin 4Ballades and Liszt Vallee d’Obermann),
and gave the first public performance of Khachaturian’s piano concerto in
Toyama
2017 gave the performance of Mahler’s “Das Lied von der Erde” (original piano version)
